Activists are coming from all over the U.S. to join the Encampment to Stop the War. Many people are not able to come -- but you can still help make this possible.
Maintaining the Encampment involves enormous expenses. Due to police harassment, we are having to find housing for people away from the Encampment. We have also had to bail out activists who were arrested for trying to bring Congress the message : Cut off the war funding!
There are also the numerous expenses involved in organizing and maintaining the Encampment--food, transportation, making placards, paying for the stage and sound, and so much more.
